When I was 6 I got my very first Build a Bear, a Sassy Kitty. I loved her to pieces - literally. She got very dirty, so we put her in the wash. Her back ripped open and all the stuffing inside exploded everywhere and the heart got all torn up. After restuffing her and taping her heart back together, we put her back in the wash to finish the cycle. When she was out, all the blue in her eyes had bleached out and her tail and head hair were scratchy/rough, and no longer soft or sparkly. I still own her to this day, but I'm a little disappointed she's not in better shape
